We've rebranded. After more than 25 years operating as ABC Sheds, we're now Standwell, and we want to take a moment to explain what that actually means for our customers.
The business itself hasn't changed hands. We're still the same family-owned operation based in Young, run by the same people, building the same high-quality steel sheds and structures we always have.
This rebrand came from a genuine desire to have a name and identity that better represent the business we've grown into. ABC Sheds told people what we sold. Standwell says something about how we do it. The name speaks to structures that stand strong, to work done with real skill, and to the long-standing client relationships we've always considered one of our greatest assets.
For anyone currently working with us or holding a guarantee on an existing structure, your warranties are completely unaffected. Current projects continue with the same team you've already been dealing with, and the 25-year 'You're Covered' Guarantee we've always stood behind remains firmly in place. A new name doesn't change our obligations to you, and it doesn't change how we operate.
Something we've heard a few times since the announcement is whether this signals a shift away from the agricultural and rural clients who've been central to our business from the beginning. It doesn't. That work matters enormously to us, and those relationships are part of what shaped who we are. If anything, the new brand is designed to reflect the full scope of what we build, from farm sheds and livestock shelters to commercial buildings and industrial structures, without leaving anyone behind.
What we've done is bring our presentation up to the standard of our work. Our structures have always been engineered to exceed Australian building standards, built with fully fabricated structural steel frames, and designed to hold up in tough Australian conditions. The new brand finally looks like it belongs alongside that level of quality, and that's something we're genuinely proud of.
